The Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (CED), an initiative of the Pakistan Association of the Deaf (PAD), is committed to empowering Deaf individuals through education, skill development, and community engagement. We ensure that every Deaf person has access to quality education and professional opportunities, with programs tailored to their unique needs, from early childhood education to advanced vocational training. Emphasizing Pakistani Sign Language (PSL) as the primary mode of communication, we support Deaf students in learning and self-expression. Beyond education, CED acts as a hub for innovation, research, and advocacy for Deaf rights, working with families, educators, employers, and policymakers to build a more inclusive society. Our dedicated team, including many Deaf professionals, serves as role models, demonstrating that with the right support, the Deaf community can achieve great success.
